The Odyssey

This classic saga by Homer is set in ancient Greece where it relates the adventures of King Odysseus of Ithaca. On the day his son is born to faithful wife Penelope , Odysseus is commanded by the goddess Athena to leave his home and travel to battle the Trojans. Little does he realize that this is the beginning of a 20-year sojourn where Odysseus conquers many grave perils as he finds his way home from being lost at sea.
